Dedicated Unto the LORD

Dedicate: v. 1. to set apart and consecrate to God or to a sacred purpose
2. to give up wholly or earnestly, as to someone or some end; set apart or appropriate
Appropriate: v. 1. set apart for specific purpose or use

Dedicated on this day, a servant of the Lord,
His kingdom, the inheritance; His grace be the reward.
Entrusted to our family, that we would guide them well.
That they would know The Shepherd… a tale of love to tell.

We celebrate this life, in Your creation we rejoice,
Give us wisdom and direction, that they’ll know the Shepherd’s voice.
What heart would beat within them? An apostle or a preacher?
Evangelist or prophet? Already they're a teacher.

As we gaze upon this treasure… a gift from God, above…
We almost can imagine, the measure of His love.
Help us be the stewards, that You would have us be.
Let the love that You would have them know - shine on them, through me.

Royalty of the King of Kings; an heir unto the throne.
Lord help us to remember, that they are Yours, alone.
