Unlimited Possibilities

Know your limitations, we’ve often heard the phrase.
And surely, we feel limited… in oh, so many ways.
We see the gifts in others, and then, feel set apart.
The list of limitations, engraved upon our heart.
No doubt, we all need limits… human nature opts for treason.
The tablets given Moses, handed down for just this reason.
With all our human weakness, our flaws of every kind,
No surprise we see the limits… when potential, we could find.
Often blind to possibilities… we shouldn’t find it odd,
That we’d project, these very limitations, on our God.
Beyond our understanding… we struggle to believe,
The redemption and salvation, He would have us all receive.
A “Limited Edition”, was sacrificed for you,
That by the Holy Spirit, we would know, His Word is true.
Creator of the universe… seated on the throne.
Limitless in power… and the mercy He has shown.
His glory in abundance, laws of nature are defied,
Miracles and wonders… in the twinkling of an eye.
His love for you, unmeasured… and there’s no balance due.
You’re a Limited Edition… He created just one you.
Created for a purpose, you are precious in His sight,
To glorify the Father… to step into His light.
Perhaps the real struggle with our human nature is…
Remembering our human limitations, are not HIS.
He knows our limitations, and every tear we shed,
Yet sees the possibilities… through Christ in us, instead.
Know your limitations, is good advise, of course.
But live your possibilities… remembering the source.
While I can’t move a mountain… alone, I’m just a man.
The miracle in me, you see… I serve a God, who can.

Job 36:26   How great is God - beyond our understanding!

Mark 10:27  Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible,                                                  but not with God; all things are possible with God."

Philippians 4:13  I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
