Secrets

The secrets that I’m keeping,
I think no one can see…
Behind each wall, He sees them all,
And waits to set me free.

Occupying precious space,
The anger and the pride.
Oh, that I could let them go,
Your love, in me reside.

The pain that I hold onto,
Becomes my mighty shield.
Give me strength to lay it down,
And let my heart be healed.

Prepare me for the journey,
Give me eyes to see.
Fear and doubt, Lord, cast them out,
And grant me victory.

Psalm 44:21  would not God have discovered it, since He knows the secrets of the heart?
